Abstract

There was a need to increase the maximum tailings placement above the stacked tailings from 2032.0 m in the main contours of the tailings basin bowl, taking into account the reliability and stability of the tailings management facilities.

Determination of the maximum possible disposal of production wastes, which included an assessment of the stability of the tailings storage facility. As a result of stability calculations, it was determined that the tailings dam structure will be stable both under static conditions and under seismic impact under design scheme No.2.
