Abstract

An assessment of the significance of a mineral deposit is made in relation to the recoverable value of their reserves in the bowels. Evaluating the efficiency of the development of mineral deposits means determining their final efficiency, taking into account the cost estimates of the environmental consequences caused by mining activities and its impact on the natural environment.

This article is devoted to only one of the aspects of this problem - the study of the peculiarities of using the time factor in the environmental and economic assessment of the development of mineral deposits.

In this regard, the time factor is promoted to the category of determining factors, therefore, it requires a more detailed and fundamental consideration. At the same time, one should consider time not in a general abstract form, but give it a concrete definition.
