Abstract

This article discusses an experimental and analytical method for the rapid interpretation of geophysical data obtained during a study of landslide-prone slopes in the southwestern Tien Shan. The authors propose an algorithm for the phased construction of physical-geological cross-section models—from a priori schemes to detailed engineering-geological cross-sections generated based on training the system at reference points (boreholes). Particular attention is paid to the procedure for adjusting regression relationships to accurately estimate the physical and mechanical properties of soils (density, cohesion, angle of internal friction) based on seismic and electrical survey data. The described approach allows for rapid assessment of slope conditions, identification of water-saturated horizons, and determination of the boundaries of lithological layers directly during the survey process, which significantly improves the reliability of landslide hazard predictions.
