Abstract

This article focuses on the development and implementation of agronomic practices for growing erosion-control forest crops on landslide-prone slopes in the Oloke-Kolot area. The study outlines a terracing technique and specific soil cultivation methods designed to maximize moisture retention and protect the land from erosion. It describes the experience of creating forest-reclamation strips of walnut and apple trees, including seedling placement schemes, crown formation methods, and care for the plantings in the adyr foothills of southern Kyrgyzstan. The application of the proposed methodology has increased crop survival rates and ensured effective biological protection of the soil cover against erosion and displacement.
