Abstract

This article examines the deformation properties of rocks using static and dynamic methods. The authors describe software and hardware developed at the Institute of Geomechanics and Mineral Resources Development of the Kyrgyz Republic National Academy of Sciences, which enables real-time recording of elastic and plastic deformations of samples using strain gauges and ADCs. The paper provides a comparative analysis of elastic moduli, Poisson's ratios, and shear moduli for various rock types (limestone, granite, magnetite, etc.). It was found that dynamic parameters often exceed static ones, and a parabolic correlation is observed between compressive strength and Shore hardness. The paper emphasizes the need to accumulate experimental data to identify the nature of the differences between static and dynamic parameters.
