Abstract

This article examines the rational use of mineral resources through reserve optimization using the Tulkubash gold ore site of the Chaarat deposit as an example. The author conducted a comparative analysis of three cutoff grade options (0.5 g/t, 1.0 g/t, and 1.5 g/t) using block modeling in Gemcom. Based on calculations, it was determined that the cutoff grade of 1.0 g/t is the most efficient for industrial mining, providing an optimal balance between ore volume and average gold grade.
