Abstract

This paper examines the stress-strain state of the ground around a tunnel of the Almaty Metro with a precast reinforced concrete lining. Using the finite element method (FEM), a seven-segment structure was calculated, taking into account the actual physical and mechanical properties of boulder-pebble soils and a seismic impact of magnitude 9. The authors constructed diagrams of radial and tangential stresses and displacements, allowing them to identify the most vulnerable areas of the lining contour. The analysis results demonstrate a significant reduction in arch deformations using soil stabilization methods.
