Abstract

In 1951, I graduated from Kok-Art Secondary School in the Oktyabrsky District of the Jalal-Abad Region, which was then part of the Oktyabrsky District. I went to Bishkek (then the city of Frunze), where that same year I enrolled in the Physics and Mathematics Department of the newly established Kyrgyz State University, choosing physics as my major. Soon after, probably in September, we arrived in the Kara-Suu District of the Osh Region to work as agricultural laborers in the cotton harvest. We probably returned to Frunze in November.
