This paper examines the development of renewable energy sources (RES) in the Republic of Kazakhstan and their prospects for their development. The authors examine the national stages of integrating green technologies into the country's energy system and present the results of years of engineering and design work by research teams from Al-Farabi KazNU and KSU to create highly efficient carousel-type wind turbines (WTs).
