Abstract

This article examines the integration of intelligent systems and knowledge bases into automated design processes for hydraulic structures. The authors propose a concept for building an invariant analytical platform based on web technologies, enabling flexible, multivariate analysis of design decisions, unlike rigidly structured OLAP systems. A general algorithm for a knowledge base is described, using a reverse inference mechanism for processing sessions, monitoring data relevance, and supporting decision making in the design of dams and embankments.
