Abstract

This article presents an improved block-stage computational model of the Northern Tien Shan crust and lithosphere in the Ili and Issyk-Kul basins. The authors provide a detailed analysis of the region's structural and tectonic features, including megablocks of varying thickness, deep faults, and transitional geodynamic zones. Based on a summary of geological and geophysical data, the physical, mechanical, and elastic properties of rocks at various stages are systematized for subsequent mathematical modeling of the stress-strain state of the massif.
