DETERMINING THE INITIAL FORMATION OF PLASTIC ZONES IN A HETEROGENEOUS-TRANSTROPIC MASSIF AROUND A MINING WORKING

This article presents a methodology for determining the boundaries and development patterns of plastic zones in a heavy rock mass with a heterogeneous transtropic structure around a single working. Using the generalized Mohr-Coulomb criterion and the finite element method, the patterns of rock transition to the ultimate stress state are investigated depending on the burial depth and support type. Using a coal seam as an example, the influence of geostatic and tectonic loads on the formation of fracture zones is demonstrated, and the manifestation of zonal disintegration of rocks with the formation of alternating annular zones is theoretically confirmed.
