Abstract

This article examines the stress-strain state (SSS) of a reinforced working contour located in an anisotropic, inclined-layered rock mass (using a coal seam as an example) under the influence of geostatic and horizontal tectonic loads. The modeling was performed using the finite element method with eight-node isoparametric elements and nine-point numerical integration. The author provides a detailed analysis of the tangential stress distribution on the inner contour of the concrete lining with varying inclinations of the isotropic planes of the host rock and assesses the nature of the stress relief in the soil areas of the working.
