Abstract

This article discusses a method for numerically constructing direct and inverse conformal mappings of finite and semi-infinite simply connected domains with smooth contours. Using specific examples of variations in the geometry of parabolic and elliptical boundaries (including modeling river canyons), the authors implement a calculation algorithm in the Mathcad software environment. The practical significance of finding analytical relationships and feedback loops for correctly specifying boundary conditions in the numerical modeling of geomechanical processes in rock masses is substantiated.
