Abstract

This article examines the challenges of reforming and improving the quality of natural science and engineering education in the Kyrgyz Republic. The authors analyze the unique educational model of the "Phystech system" (MIPT), based on in-depth fundamental training of students in their early years of study and their subsequent integration into the research and production activities of their core institutions. The paper substantiates the feasibility of adapting this methodology to Kyrgyzstan's leading universities to overcome the engineering talent crisis and modernize the domestic economy.
