Abstract

This article analyzes the features and benefits of integrating new information technologies into foreign language teaching at the current stage of educational development. The authors examine the transition to a new, student-centered educational paradigm and describe in detail the main forms of using computer-based learning programs and online resources to develop students' communicative skills. Particular attention is paid to the potential for overcoming language barriers, individualizing the learning process, and introducing non-traditional interactive activities that enhance student motivation.
