TREND FORECASTING MODELS

The work discusses one of the simplest mathematical forecasting methods - trend models. The trend method involves extrapolation of a time series; forecast indicators are determined as a result of linear extrapolation of trends that have developed in the past. The method is used to determine short-term forecasts for data with a continuous trend of changes over time.
