RESULTS OF RESEARCHES OF THE ROCKS STRENGTH PROPERTIES OF THE AK-TASH DEPOSIT

The paper presents the results and conclusions of the study of the strength properties of rocks of the Ak-Tash deposit. The methods of studying the strength properties of rocks are presented. It is proved that the highest values of deformation characteristics are typical of skarns, metasomatites and granodiorites, and low values are typical of marble. The strength characteristics of rocks, irregularly shaped samples, which were determined for all the presented samples on the BU-39 device are on average higher than the strength characteristics that were determined using samples of regular geometric shape, this is due to the smaller size of the samples and, accordingly, there is an influence of the volume factor, the smaller the sample, the less structural disturbances it has. High values of mechanical characteristics and the dynamic nature of the destruction of the presented rocks indicate possible dynamic manifestations of rock pressure in the massif composed of granodiorites and ore-bearing rocks.
